2018/2019 EOFY Flashback

So here we are at the end of another financial year, and it’s crazy to think that another twelve months have gone by. What a massive year its been as well for the Hobart market place with Tasmanian, in general, continuing to outperform all of Australia’s capital cities which shows just how Popular the area has become for people moving to the state along with investors growing their portfolio into the area.

With that in mind, it seems like the perfect opportunity to look into how our property management department has performed. Our department has grown its rent role by 12.5% and has increased the department’s profit by 30% as demand for rentals continues to stay healthy for properties within the Northern Suburbs of Hobart.

Our rental team also attended PMC this year on the Gold Coast where they spent an intense two days of training (or so we are told) and finally we have been able to continue our growth for this department through the recruitment of staff and have been excited to welcome Renz to our team. Renz has joined to help with admin and ensure a continued high level of customer service is offered to all clients of 4one4 Real Estate.

Our sales team have continued to push through the last 12 months and have helped over 260 families, investors and first home buyers achieve their property goals for a totals sales values of $42,045,750 an outstanding result for a boutique sales agency.

In addition to sales, we have helped educate over 300 people in regards to their homes properties worth through our no obligation sales appraisals.

To fuel our team, we purchased 1768 coffees from Agency Cooper and Shake a Leg JR along with 1440 Nespresso pods for a total of 3208 coffee’s or 12.5 per day….. we might have a small problem there!

4one4 Media House has had another bumper year branching out to work with the Tasmanian education system, Cripps, Southern City BMX, BMX Tasmania along with several other building and development companies to bring their video ideas to life.

Another feather in 4one4 Media Houses cap in the purchase and installation of our new Podcasting studio which has the ability for five people to gather and talk and through our new recording studio we also launched two new Podcasts to the Australian Marketplace.

The first of them was “The Property Pod” a 30-minute weekly show that looks at all things real estate, from news to guest speakers and this has fast become one of Australia’s leading real estate podcasts.

The second podcast we have produced is “The weekly wrap” which started with a few of the staff turning on the microphones on Friday arvo for fun but has quickly become a popular way for the team to debrief on the week that was all while having a little fun in the process.

Finally to finish off 4one4 Real Estate were lucky enough to win some pretty outstanding awards this financial year including the Ratemyagent.com.au “Property Management top 10” agency of the year (where we finished 2nd), Ratemyagent.com.au “Brighton” agency of the year, and the Ratemyagent.com.au agent of the year “Brighton, Patrick Berry”.

So when I look back at another financial year done and dusted, I’m excited by the progress that 4one4 has made in the marketplace not just in sale and property management but also as a business. Im excited to push forward for another bumper year and with Hobart set to begin a second wind according to a lot of property economists I’m excited to see what happens over the next six months.

For now, it’s over and out and if you have been looking for an innovative and progressive agency that pushes the boundary past the average real estate business then pick up the phone and give us a call today as I know my team would love to hear from you!
